Free analogue of Ideco ICS

- 10 users

The task is to make an Internet gateway with the ability to cut all the various social networks for a certain range of users with the display of statistics on Internet use.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to purchase Ideco, so free analogues are being sought.

As an option, I found clearOS, can anyone else tell me something, or unsubscribe about clearOS itself, how efficient is it in business?

And why not just take any * nix distribution (which you know better) (for example, I prefer FreeBSD for gateways) and finish it up to the required functionality? There is nothing difficult in this.
But get exactly what you need, without unnecessary functionality. Flexibility is higher than using someone else's ready.

In a word. FreeBSD + openLDAP + mpd5 + LdapAdmin + squid
once set up and works for centuries in addition, if you need mail exim + spamassassin +
clamav and connect to Windows AD and configure the filter.
