Framework for a web app for iPhone?

What framework would you recommend for writing a web application for iPhone? Using CSS HTML Javascript.
We need controls that look like native ones, transitions between screens.

Two options. One is simpler, the other is more sophisticated. Both seem to be free (the second only has paid support):
1. jQueryMobile - jquerymobile.com
2. SenchaTouch - www.sencha.com/products/touch/

Heard about these products:

  • phone gap
  • Titanium - people use it at work and seem to be happy, the great thing is that it compiles javascript into a 'native' application.
  • wink Toolkit - similar to jTouch

I myself have not played with these things, so maybe someone will tell you more about them.
Good luck.

I really liked Jonathan Stark's book "Building iPhone Apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript", it's very easy to find where you need to go.
