Foundation-sites: classes not working?

Why don't the .columns .small-* .large-* etc. classes work after setting foundation-sites? As I understand it, nothing works at all.
After installation: npm install --save foundation-sites
I added to the main scss file:
and there is no point (((classes in html do not work, that is, they are not described at all in the compiled css file ...
what could be the problem?
