foreign counterparty. How to make sure that the person who concluded the contract with you pays for the services?

Hello, I ran into a situation: there is a profile on UpWork, which has begun to consistently generate income. As part of one of the projects, I ran into an agency that offered to work through them on one of their projects. agency from another country. The customer approved me, signed the contract. The money is withdrawn to the Payoneer agency, and then transferred to my Payoneer account. There was a burning desire to formalize as an individual entrepreneur (to work with the agency and with other clients through UpWork).
I called Modulbank beforehand (I consider them as the main candidate for opening a settlement account) to find out if it would be possible to legalize this type of payment for my services (Payoneer of the Agency => My Payoneer => IP settlement account in USD). As it turned out, there are no problems, I will need an agreement with the Agency, an invoice issued under the agreement, an agreement with Payoneer (to take into account their commission for withdrawing to a bank account).
But I have doubts, as if I'm missing something. We will draw up a contract, agree on it, and sign it (the Agency does not mind). But I had a question: How will the tax / currency control link the contract signed by the counterparty and the counterparty's account in Payoneer?I mean that the counterparty is located abroad. And by and large there is no 100% way to determine that I did not draw up and sign the contract for both parties (made it up). And the Payoneer account from which the money comes may not be related to the company at all. As well as vice versa, some swindler who intercepted documents can set me up.
I'm interested in how to protect myself from this situation as much as possible in principle?THOSE. I'm wondering how to make sure:

  • counterparty exists
  • it was the counterparty who signed the contract (and not some scammer)
  • the Payoneer account from which the money comes belongs to the counterparty, and not to someone else...

And what responsibility threatens the IP if this happens?
Thanks in advance!

In any case, by and large, no one cares about all this. There is a contract, there is money, there are tax deductions - the rest is not important. The bank is also fined for violating currency laws, the Module has a very strict VC, so don't worry.

as far as I remember, the pioneer can withdraw to a local account only in local currency

I don’t understand why you need an agency and a pioneer? Work directly. You will get more money
