Fix the result of the modifier. How to stop the animation in blender, ala save?
BLENDER SOFTWARE
Idea:
There is a stage, there is a hole in it closed by sliding doors. Under the stage is a car covered with a cloth. The doors slide open, a car with this cloth on it rises from below.
As a result, the car is on the stage, covered, then after a while I rip off this fabric from the car with the help of a dummy tied to the fabric, or I’ll just set up a wind simulation.
Approximately as on the gif (link below), only the car will not fly, the mechanism with the floor will raise it.

Problem:
So I can’t figure out how to fix this fabric in the blender on the car already with the cloth modifier applied from the moment it is at the bottom until it is torn off her from the car?
I have a scene with just one camera that will fly around the whole place. The modifier requires the very animation of the fall of this fabric on the car so that it just lays down, this is 3 seconds. It comes out while the camera flies around the scene, there will first be an animation under the floor as the fabric falls on the object and then breaks?
It's just that any movement of the object will affect the fabric and its position, it will most likely fall, which of course would not happen in reality.
Is it possible to fix the position and get a finished, static fabric mesh?
Or can it somehow "stick around" the car with just a static mesh without a modifier (correct with a sculpt) and already at the moment X hang the modifier with the wind?
I hope I explained clearly.

Been looking for a solution for a month. And then just Max from this forum gave an answer in 2 days ...
In short, a working solution from Max:
1. Stop the animation on the desired frame
2. Select fabric,
3. Go to the Modifier Properties tab
4. To the right of the Cloth inscription are buttons with images Monitor, Camera and Checkmark with the top down
, click on this checkmark and select the top line “Apply Ctrl A”
it turns out just a mesh
