Fix CVE-2017-14491 on RT-N12_VP?

Such a problem, I installed the latest firmware on Router Asus RT-n12VP using the official link https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN12_VP/HelpDesk_BIOS/ from the manufacturer's website. After the update, I ran an Avast scan for network security threats, which gave the following, see below

In the list of firmware changes, there is no mention of a bug that is already one year old, is it? Is there any way to fix the problem manually? Are there any additional tools for diagnosing such vulnerabilities that are better than the built-in Avast modules?
