First steps: where to start learning automated api testing in python?

I work as a manual tester, recently I started learning python with the goal of becoming an automator in the future.
We work with REST api on the project, we use SoapUI.
Please tell me where to start studying, what to read, share information for a complete beginner.

For Python, there is an excellent library for working with the API - requests.
