Financial transactions for you have been limited. What to do in such a situation?
I have been registered on upwork.com for several years but have not been active on it.
Now I decided to go in and start working, I saw a message in my profile.
Financial transactions for First Name Last Name (********) have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support.
Frightened by this message, I thought that maybe in the past I applied for the closing of the upwork.com profile,
I decided to create a new account on a new mailbox. This message also appeared on the new account.

Sent a letter to withdraw - received a response.
Thank you for your email.
We've reviewed all of the information you provided, but will not be reinstating your account. The decision is final and the restriction is permanent. I understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for.
Please know we are unlikely to respond to further correspondence regarding this matter.

Upwork Trust & Safety Team
Never worked with upwork.com never sent a single Proposal, in the entire history there was not a single transaction not a single financial transaction, not on my part, not on the part of upwork. What can be done in such a situation? Is this a ban? Or maybe I don't understand something? It turns out that upwork does not forgive mistakes at all?

Had the same problem. I wrote to support. Received a response:
Thank you for your email. In order to lift the limitations on your account you need to undergo video verification. You can contact us at your most convenient time.
well .. most likely you were hacked and someone "threw" someone through your acc.
As far as I understand, upwork does not forgive mistakes and in no case can you create a second account on it, even if there was no activity on the first account. They wrote that my violations are very serious, although in fact I just created a second account, thinking that in the past I closed my previous account through the support service, which is why some incomprehensible message hangs on it. As it turned out, they noticed that I went from another iron a year later to my account and blocked it in order to protect me. Because of this, a message popped up. Not knowing this, I decided to create a second account so as not to bathe with the reason for its appearance. And so, now you really don’t need to bathe - I GOT A ETERNAL BAN!
