Fill in a field without creating a record in the model?

There is a form for creating a product 'items / add'
- Name
- Key
- Price We

can write the key ourselves or generate it through the button input field (I can now do this if I create a new record in the model, but I want to create a new record only by the save button) (I can figure out how to clear the page but fill in the field) Sorry for the stupid question, but I just started to understand the web Thanks for the answers :)
