File server 1C for 8 people, system requirements and OS

Interested in:
1) Do I need gigabit
2) Do I need a server OS of the Windows family and which one
3) Do I need RAID or SSD
4) Is there any use from SMB2
5) Which clients are better to use

What version of 1C? When the database grew to 1.5 GB and terrible brakes started, I had to install a terminal server. Raised on raid 5, although I think it is possible on raid1. Proc core2 duo about 2.6 GHz. There was 8 GB of memory, but when about 10 people were sitting in 3-4 databases at the same time and some laborious accounting procedure was still being done, brakes appeared. Especially when moving from 8.1 to 8.2. Delivered on the server 16gb - were delighted. Windows server 2008x64. For a DAILY backup used cobian backup on a SEPARATE screw. Regarding point 1, with a terminal server, it is not necessary.
