File content search from Linux explorer

There is a real lack of searching through the contents of the files in this folder and its subfolders by pressing Ctrl + F and entering the characters you are looking for.

Tell me how to tie it to my Linux Mint + Cinnamon.

Maybe somehow you can fasten the Gnome Search Tool to Ctrl + F in this folder?

With full-text search in Linux, things are pretty bad (yet). There is nothing out of the box. There are several programs of varying degrees of buggy and inconvenience. At one time I tried DocFetcher, it seems to work. There is no need to dream of supporting the Russian language at the level of Google / Yandex, morphology there, and even just a built-in Windows search.
If anything has changed today, please correct me.

Well, at least they wrote what kind of System and what kind of gnome!
They write that gnome-search-tool can:

PS The second link says that the default hotkey is ALT+F2

Didn't find what you were looking for?
