Fake online contacts in ICQ (tested on QIP2005 8080, R&Q, WEB) protocol bug?
Greetings to all archaeologists .
I recently noticed that in my old QIP 2005 (8080) all contacts are online, well, I think, okay, why not. Everything changed at 4 am when I had to reply to a colleague. To my surprise, everyone was online. I went to the Web version of the "asechka" and thinking that something force majeure had happened, I urgently threw off the material. By chance, I looked up and saw that my friend was sleeping peacefully at home (or was he not sleeping?), in other words, the last online was at half past six in the evening, that is, the end of the working day in the company.
I decided to check in R&Q, there was the same picture, I went by email - everything is the same. I looked in the settings, icq happily reported that my colleague spent half a year online in it.
The screenshot below shows the essence of what is happening:
Is it possible to somehow fix this or not. I would also like to be able to download the message history from the server as in the web version.
UPD Maybe in this way, some team leader proved the need for funding, for Mail.ru: "look guys how smart we are , how many people are online, everyone loves icq" (:
