Faculty choice?

I welcome those who read this question and immediately get to the point. This year I am entering a university, and I have to decide on a faculty. But here is the thing: we have two faculties at the university: information technology and computer science. I have a question: what's the difference between these faculties? Is it the same thing, or is there still a difference? What is there in each, and what specialties can be obtained by studying in each?

Faculties can either almost not differ, or be the complete opposite. This is only an organizational division, often creating new ones or combining old ones.
Ask at the university. Separately for its representatives and separately for students in these faculties.
Ideally, you should have an experienced acquaintance who recently graduated from it, who can tell you what kind of teachers and in what area they can teach (and can they).

You are entering a university.
You have several options to find out what you want:
1) University website. Go to the site, look at the description of the specialty, faculty, department. Perhaps the site contains curricula of this (or previous years)
2) Call the university at the faculty and find out where to find the curriculum.
3) Come to the university for an open day and ask directly from representatives of the faculties
4) Come to the admissions office and ask them.
Unfortunately, key don is right - faculties can differ oppositely, and can be similar. Better than representatives of these faculties, no one will answer your question. Look at the offered specialties.
