facebook api weirdness when receiving notifications?

In facebook, when receiving notifications through the graphic api, for example, developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/?method=GET... I receive all notifications except notifications from close friends.
Googling a bit, I found a bug report developers.facebook.com/bugs/386688401391289/ but no response.
Has anyone come across this problem please share the solution.
Or vote, at least maybe they will react somehow.
