I read a series of articles on Habré about the Viola-Jones method and the OpenCV library. Actually, I'm interested in what other modern methods of face recognition are there and are there libraries that implement them?

1) OpenCv still has a directional gradient method (HOGDescriptor )
2) Intel Percpetual SDK - only for Windows, but it works very fast, selects two corners of each eye, nose, two corners of the mouth when using a regular webcam.
