Extension for Google Chrome, getting rid of a paid subscription on the site

Is it legal to publicly post a chrome extension that suppresses the paid subscription message on the site? The page itself "looks" behind the message. I just remove one dom element. I have been using this extension for a long time.

Yes, because as you yourself wrote, this is just the removal of one DOM element
