Experience using QNAP on the Apple network, especially as TimeCapsule. Who is in the subject?
With the increase in the volume of disks of MacBook laptops, Apple TimeCapsule 3 TB is no longer enough. I decided to replace it with a QNAP disk for 2-4. Despite the fact that QNAP states that everything seems to be ok, I have experienced the experience of people when they were not very happy with the actual use of QNAP as a backup storage for the standard Apple Time Machine tool. Are there people here who actually used QNAP to store copies of Time Machine? What is your opinion? Is everything ok or there are nuances?
For example, at the bottom of the article https://support.qnap.ru/hc/ru/articles/360000716013 there is a funny note:
IMPORTANT! In connection with the constant updates of the MAC OS kernel, the firmware for QNAP is also being modified in order to achieve their absolute compatibility. It is strongly recommended that you use the latest available QNAP firmware.
And what happens after updating the OS on the laptop to wait for copying glitches? NAS plus 4 disk norms of 6-8 TB is still worth the money, I don’t want to get buggy. Let it be expensive, but I would like to hope for backups. That's what they are made for.

Mmm, strange behavior in QNAP. The same Synology, despite updates to both macOS and DSM, has been working as Time Machine for three years without plugs. I restored my MacBook from there twice. Now I looked - the oldest copy is from May 2016.
