Exim pollutes var/spool/exim4/input. What to do?

Hello. I use vestacp on my vps.
But then the other day a misfortune happened - the place of "Inodes" began to decrease sharply, right before our eyes.
I went into the panel and saw a graph of Exim - over 600,000 letters in the queue.
Accordingly, the /var/spool/exim4/input directory turned out to be littered with junk, maybe there are some logs or errors somewhere else, but that was enough for me ...
I did not set up sending letters from the server, I send them via smtp yandex.
1) Tell me how can I get out of this situation?
2) Can I disable Exim somehow?
3) Will this affect sending emails via smtp?
Temporarily solved the issue by clearing the message queue.
But the question remains open

@mobilesfinks

1) set up rules allowing sending only from your addresses.
2) you can if you don't use a system service to send
3) see question 2 - if you don't use a system service (exim in this case), you shouldn't.
It looks like you were scammed (I could be wrong). Recently on Habré , this has already been described.
