ESP8266 broadcast and record?

The point is simple. There is a radio with a USB input. Smartphone (iOS, Android, WP8/8.1/10TP). How realistic is using the ESP8266 module to connect it to the radio (usb) and connect it to a smartphone as a Wi-Fi headset or "wireless headphones", and broadcast the audio stream (or record in WROOM or Flash ESP) for playback on the radio?

in ESP, as far as I know, there is no USB. The radio tape recorder probably only plays files from a flash drive? So it's kind of unrealistic...
