Error when adding google account in Gnome 3

If you are working in Gnome, you can click on the username in the upper right corner and select Online Accounts, you can connect to your social network accounts. If you connect your google account, you can get synchronization of calendars, mail and contacts.
When I select the google account type and click the add button, I get an error:
"Error getting request token: bad request"
OpenSuse 12.1, Gnome 3.2
I see that the error is most likely related to the network or firewall settings, but I can't handle it myself yet.

The problem is not related to network/firewall settings. This bug has been around since the first release of GNOME 3.2 and is pretty well known, I've come across it myself. Of two completely identical PCs with the same Arch Linux, it showed up on one and not on the other.
Try updating GNOME from a separate repository, because after a few updates the bug was gone in Arch and Fedora.
