Error git clone with google code archive?

Good afternoon! Can't clone repository from google code archive
Error:

fatal: https://code.google.com/archive/p/lorcon/           /info/refs not valid: is this a git repository?

tried changing
git config --global http.sslverify false
doesn't help
with github clones with no problems.
