How to set up access sharing for developers?

Hey!
There is a project on yii2 in which hunting to involve remote developers for the help. But there is a risk that they will be able to steal the code and no less willing to protect themselves from this side.
Please tell me in theory and in practice, how to do it right? thank!

How do you imagine it?
Just make a separate repository for them, where they will push. But they must have access to all the code, otherwise I have no idea how they can work on the project.
PS
If you don't trust the developers, it's easier not to work on the project at all.
PPS
Let them sign the NDA, and as a last resort, sue.

Theoretically, you can create a server for development, and give access to a specific programmer only in controllers, vendor and models ... but this is a very big gem and I do not recommend you do this.
