Endless scrolling of Yandex results?

I remember that the situation developed like this, some time ago, according to my feelings, about a year ago, Yandex launched an endless scrolling of the search results, as I remember it was already in the island design.
If I don’t confuse anything, there was an article on Habré what great fellows they were and how cool they did it, and then after a while they sawed it out and there was another article with a debriefing.
I can't find. Can someone post links to the history of this issue.
I found only one article, but it is quite old. Apparently this is an earlier attempt.

I don't know about articles. But I'll tell you about my experience.
Infinite loading is convenient in feeds. Where all content is disposable and will not be returned to. Then you can scroll endlessly, which is very cool.
On the other hand, if you need a clear understanding of where and what content is located, then endless loading will not work. It seems to me that this is why Yandex abandoned the infinite scroll. People are more accustomed to finding something by script: for X , there was an interesting article on the third page. Infinite loading makes it impossible to navigate the content.
Vkontakte came up with a good solution. When the user scrolls the pages themselves.
