Encrypted crypto container with remote access and synchronization
Please tell me how this can be implemented, a remote cryptocontainer is required, which could be connected as a file system, it is very desirable that it be in the form of a file, synchronization, as I understand it, is rsync.
The OS is mostly debian, but I would like it to be cross-platform, there is a truecrypt option, but it has some problems with the license, as far as I remember, I would like something open for real.

TrueCrypt is a good option. It seems that you can use
EncFS in DropBox, a good option, but, as far as I remember, there are more than one file.
There are built-in Linux tools for creating a file system in a file + encrypting it.
For remote work, sshfs is not a bad option.
TrueCrypt works great, I also recommend it. What are the licensing issues? Didn't hear anything like that.
