Emulation of a failed hard disk, which of the hypervisors can do it?

Ideally, you need the ability to designate such and such a sector of such and such a hard disk as a bad one,
tell me, does anyone from VMWare/VirtualBox/QEMU/etc know how to do this?

I am afraid it is not. Nobody can.
The hyperwizard doesn't really work with "disks", it works (very simplistic) with virtual device files, and they can either be in the correct format or corrupted.
And the formats themselves (purely logically) do not allow creating faulty sections within themselves.

On a virtual or real hard drive? In any case, this is easy to do in some WinHex or DiscEditor.
Or so - hdd-911.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=...
Nothing happened on the hyper-v virtual disk. You can try to connect a real one, maybe it will work on it.
