Emmet on Sublime or Atom with ftp?

Hello. I ran into such a problem - there is no normal FTP connector on the sublime, or rather just a connection to the element tree on the server. The project is quite cumbersome and it is impossible to synchronize all the time, and you don’t want to download it to the local area. Atom (by GH) has a flawless file connection extension on the server and they are edited on the fly. But for some reason, emmet works very ugly there, after a time, it does not execute commands that are directly written even in the keymap. Recommend how to conjure so that the element tree is from the server (just a list) and emmet works humanly.
