Email client for gmail to send press releases?
Hello dear!
Tell me, please, do you know such a program with at least the minimum functionality from what I will now describe below. Or not a program (for Windows), but some kind of Internet service (such as mailing lists) with similar functionality.
So, there is a base of mailing addresses of the media - a white, legal base, collected in the course of the labor activity of a PR specialist, roughly speaking, contacts at work.
We go into the program line - we enter in the settings our login and password from mail to gmail.
Now further we create a contact card - we specify the postal address and the category to which the contact belongs. That is, for example, we create 10 contacts, of which 3 belong to the "automedia" category, 4 to the "IT-media" category, 2 to the "general media" category, 1 to the "
Now, next, click the "new letter" button, write a press release, and instead of the recipient's address, enter the name of the category (or put a tick in front of the items in the list of all categories). Let's send. That is, our press release can be quickly and conveniently sent to all recipients within a particular category. Something like that.
In general, the bottom line is that each time you send a press release, do not open a text file with email addresses and do not select the necessary contacts from there. And we just sort these contacts into categories in advance and after that we send a letter immediately to a group of contacts.
Thanks in advance for your tips! I can’t remember such software myself, although maybe The Bat can do it all? I'm not sure exactly, but I heard something about him. Or maybe it's possible through MailChimp?
Thank you!
Sincerely,
lumir

free software / services - no. I chose MailPoet for myself - a cool plugin for wordpress. Does what you need. Extended profiles still deliver so that the ala cards are up and running.
There is an Indian Email Studio plugin, but it's not free. I use it to send mail at a given time (in principle, it is better than all competitors and certainly beats them in price - 30 bucks a year versus 25 a month).
It has a Mail Merge function - as far as I understand, this is mailing according to the list, although I didn’t use it myself, but the name matches the Outlook Business Contact Manager (now deceased) function, which was engaged in just such mailings.
