Elementor plugin not working properly?
Good afternoon!
There is a site on wordpress and faced such a problem that the site is built on the Elementary plugin, everything was fine, but recently the plugin suddenly began to work incorrectly. More precisely, when I click to edit the page through elementary, the first half of the content of the part is compressed in edit mode and when saved, it knocks out a "server error", but at the same time they are saved.
I went through the rest of the plugins, disabled and checked for a conflict how it will work, the problem is not in other plugins. Yes, the site was immediately made on the local, and then transferred to the host, but I fixed that too, I replaced the url through the elementary settings, but the error still hangs.
Maybe someone faced this?

The reasons may be different ...
A couple of times I came across elementor. I don't really like visual editors much, but sometimes I use Visual Composer.
As for the reasons for the error:
1) a plugin conflict (you excluded)
2) a conflict in the theme itself
3) there was an update of components (VP, plugins or theme) and possibly led to an error. Try updating the Elementor plugin itself.
4) Check chmod 755 folders, 644 files.
5) Check hosting limits (maybe inodes reached or something...)
6) Try replacing urls from local to work via better search replace. don't forget the guid column
7) update htaccess
8) check the user's rights to the directory with the VI. (maybe apache user and wp directory user are different)
9) Enable debug in wp-config and check code
10) Check firewall settings. For example, the Wordfence plugin can block unauthorized actions, etc.
And most importantly - check max memory_limit. A very common mistake is when the plugin simply does not have enough memory. Moreover, in most shared hostings (with the exception of foreign ones) it is 128 MB, but you need 256 or more. You might as well check it out first.
There was the same situation that Elementor just stopped working at one moment. Killed a couple of hours to solve the problem. Disabled all plugins, reinstalled Elementor, cleared cache, checked permissions, but the problem was not solved.
At one point, I notice that the Wordpress admin panel is not displayed on the main page of the site, although I have been working in the admin panel for several hours. And I understand that something with login rights. I just logged out of the admin panel through the exit, went back and everything started working. Rather, there was something more global with the cache in the entire browser, and not with the site.
