Electronic programmable locks with access control, what to look for?
Good afternoon. I have never come across this issue before, attempts to google give out all sorts of garbage. I really can't formulate a request.
There is a room in which some doors need to be locked. Certain persons are issued a key card (in any form), each key must be programmed for timed access. those. one key works for a month, another for a year, a third for a week, and so on.
Tell me how these locks are called correctly or advise some specific model.
Thank you

Modern ACS is a software and hardware complex. To solve the problem you described, you will need:
1. Card reader
2. Electromagnetic or electromechanical lock
3. Perhaps the "Exit" button
4. Access control controller (network)
5. Software - through which you will add keys, set access rules for these keys and interact with the system.
There is a lot of equipment and it is different in functions and cost. Look at the manufacturers Bolid, Gate, Ironlogic, PromAvtomatika (Sphinx), in my opinion, the friendliest interface of the Sphinx.
PS In general, come to MIPS in Moscow from April 13 to 16 and there you will see everything that exists on the Russian market))
BOLID as brains. And the locks are different - there are electromagnetic ones - they work while the battery is alive, there are mechanical ones. What do you want?
