Elance no longer relevant?

There was a lot of work for a couple of months, I didn’t go to Elance, Upwork. I knew that a merger was planned. But Elance was closer, I went in and I see literally 20-30 projects for the past 24 hours.
What do we have left besides Upwork?
Freelancer somehow does not inspire confidence.
Do you think it is possible to cancel a paid subscription to Elance?
