In the interface config, write:
MACADDR=<any:needed:mac:address>
NM_CONTROLLED=no
Then the poppy will be set statically based on the config, and not from the bullshit.
There are such glitches with some setevukha. There is a driver bug, there is a jamb of the adapter itself. Look in dmesg for the lines:
Invalid Mac address detected:
Please complain to your hardware vendor. Switching to a random MAC.
