Durov's opinion and life in the USA for IT specialists?

Good afternoon!

Many have probably already read Durov's answer to Dud's interview https://te.legra.ph/7-prichin-ne-pereezzhat-v-Krem...

In general, it is clear that the US is not the best place for business, I don’t know of course whether they leave there businessmen from paying taxes through offshore or other chains.

I honestly cannot understand the real picture that is happening in the US in terms of everything. Bloggers who talk about the pros or cons of the United States, as a rule, take extreme positions, that is, they see the country through their own prism (the glass is half full or empty) or are ardent optimists or pessimists. As a rule, there are no bloggers who would take a neutral position. I also have friends who live or lived in the USA. The only problem is that those who have lived there for a short time are IT specialists, those who have lived from 10 years and returned to their homeland are not IT specialists, it is clear that "Jamshuts" in more than one country will not live well, no matter how many hours they work a day .

Generally interested in the trace. questions, for comparison, let's take a strong middle, tk. if I'm not mistaken in our field, the largest layer is the middles. Seniors, team leads, juniors, I think it is incorrect to consider, because. there are many nuances in the first two, and juniors will have to plow and learn at once. If anyone can give an objective answer, please unsubscribe:

1. Do IT specialists from our CIS countries really live there well and work there, under conditions of high competition among educated Chinese or unpretentious Indians?
2. Is it easy to find a job for an average middle in the US at first, what is the supply/demand?
3. Are salaries from $100,000 a year really or is it just the elite who work in corporations like Google, Facebook, etc.?
4. It is clear that taxes depend on the state and other factors, and they are the largest in California. For comparison, let's take two ± similar cities at different ends of New York, New York and Seattle, Washington, what is the standard of living in these cities with an average standard of living - normal rented housing, not killed, in which modern repairs, and not which remained from 60 -s, a car on credit, mandatory household expenses, plus expenses for getting dressed and "hang out" (for myself, by this word I mean legitimate leisure activities)
5. We are all not terminators and sooner or later we will grow old and want to settle down in this country where we work, even if we came to the USA for a drive. Considering that US citizens pay taxes even outside the country; houses that are made of wood in a country where termites are a problem, it would be nice if the price was also appropriate for this rubbish that they build. The cost of educating children, one blogger said that, for example, in Canada, girls are engaged in prostitution in order to pay for this study, and this is a mass phenomenon in his words

In general, it is clear that the US is not the best place for business
oh. and that is why the states are one of the largest economies in the world.
1. depends on the person.
2. see item 1.
3. depends on the place of work. such salaries are not only in grants. by the way, $100k in some states is a modest salary.
4. NY - consider that the same California, it makes no sense to compare with Seattle.
5. the question is what?
everything is like everywhere: something is better, something is worse. and different people will have different views on the same things.
