Duplicate content in the store?

Hello!
I have an online store of sports/dietary/healthy nutrition.
There are products that have the same scope or effect, but they may differ slightly in composition / manufacturer / dosage. How to deal with the description and characteristics of these products, if it is common for products?
If you make the same description for these products, this will be a duplication of content that is negatively perceived by search engines. And the indexing of these pages is important.
If you leave a description for only one, then this will be incorrect, because. goods are different. Buyers are looking for exactly the product that suits them, and when they get to a page without a description, they will not find out about the usefulness of this product / methods of application / results, etc. You won't write "Description read on product page 1"
It will not work to rewrite the description - there will be writing for the sake of SEO, and not for buyers, and I strive for the usefulness of all the materials on the site.
I read about canonical pages, but there is no canon / copy dependency here, the products are independent and equivalent.
Can you please tell me what is the solution in this situation? How do big stores deal with it? I often see that phones/clothes are scattered on separate pages that differ only in color.
Thank you!
