Dual Boot Win8.1 and Fedora 22 to different drives?
Good day.
I have a laptop with windows 8.1 installed.
There is a main 60 GB SSD drive, on which the system stands, and a second HDD drive, which is connected via an adapter to the DVD connector.
The idea is the following. From HDD Cut off a certain amount of space and install Linux there, for deeper study and work. But, just by installing it there, the bootloader was installed there, and the BIOS does not allow booting from this disk. The standard Windows bootloader has not been replaced and Fedora does not see it. Tell me how to be?
If I cut off about 500-1000 MB from the SSD, and install the /boot partition there, will this help solve the problem? Or is it necessary to completely cut off, say, 15 gigs from the SSD, put /boot there, / and mount the rest of the space on the HDD with your hands where necessary?
