Drupal 7: Why doesn't a new product appear in the default variant product?
Good afternoon!
I have a Default product variant module on my site . And most likely other related plugins to generate product variants.
I'm trying to figure out how new product options get there?
I have a product category that displays the model, color, and other attributes that can change. This category will pick up the desired product option and generate content.
Initially, I assumed that by filling in the data of a new product, it would appear there, in the product variant. But no... It's not in the Default product variant . I found it in the database, tried to go to the page by its ID, but as expected, I landed on the first product of this category.
Neighboring product, which has the same attributes, is quietly displayed...
I.e. I can not create a page for this product, not manually, do not generate it automatically.
upd: Solved.
In my case, it turns out that in the content control panel, being on the page (a category and a variant of one of the products), go to the all products section (perhaps this is a unique section for my site), and create a new product from there.
The whole point was that creating a product in this way (and not from the product manager), I received the product ID, and using it the "product variant" was associated with the main page. And there it is somehow stupidly done that the page node can come automatically, and sometimes it needs to be set manually. And now, if you set it manually, you can specify only the title, but not the ID (Add a reference to: New display node | Existing display node). But it seems to be possible to change it after creation.
