Download Master extension for Chromium not working?

The only hint found through monitoring the process is an attempt to create and read a file com.westbyte.downloadmaster.jsonin the download folder, but the file does not appear, I could not find it anywhere on my computer (I thought it was suddenly "installed" somewhere in the wrong place). Although there, probably, links for downloading are simply stored. Manual creation of an empty one does not help either.

Yesterday I tried to create the contents of the file based on a different extension, it did not work, but the next day it became clear why. But the second day has already brought a decision, as they say "the morning is wiser than the evening"! I installed DM in a virtual machine and immediately saw three new files in the program folder, which for some reason were not in my installed one, and which, with their whole appearance, said - "you missed us!"

And then everything became clear. But with editing json by the type of another extension, I almost guessed, the difference was in a small detail.
Throwing these files even into your own, already outdated version of the program and restarting the extension, everything immediately worked.
