Downgrade firmware on iPod Touch 2G (MB) from 4.2.1 to 3.1.3?

I decided to downgrade the firmware on the old iPod, as the brakes and glitches are already pretty bad. I searched on the Internet, but there were no sensible answers to the question. That's why I'm asking for help here.

"Once the host file is open, you see some commands starting with #. Please do not change anything in this file and simply add the following command at the bottom: “74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com”” Exactly, I didn’t register the Cydia server in the hosts. Thanks a lot.

I recently reflashed the iPhone 3G from 4.2.1 to 3.1.3 and everything turned out quite simply: I downloaded 3.1.3, did a recovery via shift, reflashed normally, but turned on in recovery mode, rebooted it via iReb, and it turned on normally.
