In games, the i9-9900K outperforms the Ryzen 9 3900X by about 5-15%. This is the advantage of Ryzen in other tasks.
It makes no sense to take dual-processor server assemblies for games, most games at the moment cannot adequately load more than 8 cores / threads. For games, the max frequency per core is much more important. That is why those who, for the sake of economy, assemble PCs on buzeons prefer to take the E5-1650 and overclock it, instead of the zeons of the E5-26xx series in which the multiplier is blocked.
Mother x79 is socket 2011, not 1151. There are dual-processor where 4 channels are divided into 2 processors, and where there are 4 channels for each - you need to choose carefully.
