Double reed switch with nrf24l01, which MK to choose?

Good to everyone!
I am making a smart home, my hands have reached the control of opening / closing doors and windows. Everything is implemented on the basis of esp8266, but they all hang on a permanent line without a battery, but this will not work with doors and windows! Such an idea was born, to make a bridge between esp8266-nrf24l01 on the one hand and nrf24l01-MK-reed switches on the other side.
What kind of logic is planned, the part that hangs around the window or door is triggered by a short circuit and a short circuit to open or close through a double reed switch, after any event the device falls asleep, also during the event, voltage control is checked to determine if it is time to replace the battery! At the exit there will be 3 doors and so far 4 windows, since the windows are paired, there will be 5 modules in total, as far as I know, nrf can work immediately for several receptions through different channels!
What I need to understand is which MK to take and what to sew it on, since I only worked with arduino and esp on lua! And at least somehow direct to the right vector of movement

@Ocelot

According to the conditions of the task, any microcontroller that has a low consumption mode and enough legs is suitable. If you know how to work with arduino - take AVR. Don't like it - then STM8, STM32, LPC17xx or MSP430.
