Domain ends, how not to lose the site?

Hello, the domain is expiring, and the renewal turned out to be very expensive on this domain, what is the best thing to do in order not to lose the site, I find options on the network such as redirect, transfer, move the domain, change the domain name and a few more similar options that completely stop me confused. What is the best thing to do to keep the site working?

You need to buy a new domain before the old one runs out.
Move the site to a new domain.
Set up a redirect from the old to the new domain.
If you do not understand, contact a specialist. Although ... for the money it will be like the old one to extend or even more expensive))

In addition to the redirect, you need to inform the search engines (In Google and Yandex webmasters) about moving to a new domain. Then the risks of strong drawdowns of positions will be minimized.

Strangle the toad and renew the domain. Especially if he is a salesperson.
No, you can fool around with the transfer to another name in another zone - but the fatnastically cheap zones will be like .xyz;) You can transfer and put a redirect on the old one - maybe they will remember. But from my point of view - it will be better to extend. Although of course this is purely IMHO.

If you are confused by the renewal price, then you can transfer the domain to another registrar if it has a better price.
Everything is sad in exotic zones - the price of registration is 100 rubles, and renewal for 2000 is quite real.
Everything is much better in .RU and .РФ - there are registrars with humane prices for registration and renewal:
