Doesn't see flash drive in bios. kali linux save data after reboot?
Installed on a flash drive "USB SANDISK Ultra Dual drive 32GB" ( https://www.citilink.ru/product/fleshka-usb-sandis...) Live CD kali linux, run from HP laptop. At first, the BIOS did not see the flash drive at all, but it was displayed in the "launch from file" section. I didn’t see a Kingston flash drive with an archer either. I turned off fastboot, Secure boot in the BIOS, I began to see the archer, but I did not see kali. Solved the problem in a strange way. I realized that boot devices are requested only at startup, so I started it with a laptop archer. After the launch, I changed flash drives, and supposedly started from the archer, but from another flash drive. Earned. Further, I ran into a problem that kali saves all data after a reboot. I recorded the image on a USB flash drive using Rufus, allocated 8 GB for the Persistence section. I run Live CD in GRUB, without Persistence mod, and after reboot all data is saved. Previously, I set the password to root, when the system starts, it immediately enters the kali user, however, then I can enter the previously password-protected root. Question - what is the reason for this, and how to fix this problem?
