Does your laptop have a Linux plug?
The HP Pavilion laptop has protection for installing the Linux operating system. The installer either does not load, or after installing Linux, the system refuses to work. Folders do not open on the desktop, the mouse arrow does not move, etc. Is it possible to remove the protection?

Try installing from a different flash drive.
