Does Yandex index JavaScript-generated content?

Google crawler can index JavaScript-generated content , for example, an application written in AngularJS will be indexed as the user sees it after ng-app is initialized.

Has anyone heard if Yandex works in this direction? As far as I know, in order to index SPA in Yandex, you will have to separately generate and return already rendered html specifically for their robot. They announced this indexing method in 2012, maybe something has changed since then?

If it works, it's so quiet that no one knows

There is a lot of information on this subject:

Do not forget that in addition to Google and Yandex, there are also bing, duckduckgo and other search engines.
