Does URL length affect rankings?

Given:
Wordpress site + Woocommerce + PerfectSeoUrl. All CNC references. Now the full link to the product looks like this:
/category/category2/manufacturer/collection/product
Isn't the link too long?
How do search engines look at it?
Does it make sense to reduce the number of subcategories and transfer them to product characteristics? For example:
1) /product
2) /category/category2/product

This is overkill.....
Yes, long URLs are not a good indicator from any point of view, including SEO.
But do not forget about the correct redirects if you decide to change them

URLs that are too long are not good for SEO , also say it is better to use transliteration.
