Does traffic pass through the firewall inside the local network?

Playing with the Mikrotik router, marking everything in a row, I realized that I could not mark local traffic.
Is local traffic ignored by default? How to change it?
I created the simplest marking rules for the src address of the computer and tried to connect remotely via TW and Radmin, but the traffic was not marked. Although some bytes passed from some programs, I did not observe the included remote control itself and the Mbps of traffic from it.

Local traffic skips through the switch (this is a separate chip) and does not reach the router processor at all. To implement your idea, you will have to shove all the machines into separate vlans using the /30 mask.
But the network bandwidth will drop catastrophically.
