Does the transition to the Instagram profile on an ad from the Facebook Ads Manager advertising account work correctly?

Good afternoon!
I am advertising my own men's shoe store on Instagram and Facebook. Can you please tell me if the transition to the Instagram account on the ad set up in the Facebook Ads Manager advertising account works correctly?
I went through a bunch of articles and sites, where it is indicated that if you add a link like - https://www.instagram.com/cashershoes/ to the ad (in principle, I don’t know how else to add a link to the Instagram profile) + add an action button, then on click it will open the built-in browser Instagram or Facebook, and not the corresponding applications installed on the mobile device. And otherwise it is not possible to set up an account on Instagram (only by launching it through the Instagram application on a mobile device).
That is, a person will see the account, but in order to subscribe or leave a comment, he will have to log in, etc. Is it true? Therefore, the advertising budget will be almost wasted.

It's okay, send traffic to the opening page in the browser. It works, people subscribe right away, and then they look at your account from the application.
