Does the number of processes in Linux limit the number of oracle processes?
I ran ps ax on the oracle server and saw a sea of processes spawned by oracle clients. It turns out, on each request to a DB creates system process? But the limit on the number of processes is 65535. So, it turns out that more clients will not be able to connect to the database?
