Does the NBWAA LA-5821P motherboard support the Intel Q9100e processor?

I decided to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite L450-11Q with this processor, replacing the slow Intel T4300.

The new processor entered the socket like a glove, but after installation the laptop refused to turn on (started the cooler for 2-3 seconds and turned it off, the display did not even turn on).

Has anyone encountered such a phenomenon? Is it possible to install a non-native processor in a laptop motherboard? Firmware version - 1.20

What chipset? A quick run through the datasheets yielded the following results:
It seems that these motherboards are for Intel processors with two chipsets: GM45 Express and GL40 Express, and the latter is listed as GM40 in the Toshibov manual, perhaps just a typo.
The ark.intel.com website claims that the GM45 offhand supports the Q9100 processor, while the GL40 does not.
Moreover, even the mention of this processor in the list for GM45 does not yet give a guarantee - you need to download datasheets for the chipset and read about it inside. For example, for 945GME Express, the list of proces on the site and inside the datasheets is different.

Yes. There is such a possibility. Just the compatibility of the chipset and socket type is not enough. The BIOS firmware should also correctly detect it.
Well, in fact, you have one way to check this - update the BIOS with the old processor, and then plug in a new one)
