Does the location of the server affect the issuance in Google?

Let's say the server is located in Russia, is it possible to keep it on it for the bourgeoisie without losing positions in Google?

It is impossible, even elementary conversion will affect the user especially for the United States. for Europe as a whole

Depending on what kind of bullshit we are talking about. Ideally, you must comply with the following conditions:
1. Move under the region - IP in the country in which this region is located.
2. Move under the country - IP in the same country.
3. Move under the mainland - IP in the same mainland (ideally, analyze from which countries the most traffic comes from and draw conclusions).
etc. As Puma Thailand
correctly noted , in principle, you can leave the Russian IP under Europe, but it’s better to think about moving, for example, to Germany or France (if the geo is Europe) or some kind of Digital Ocean (if the geo is the USA).

By itself, hosting a server is not. But one of the ranking factors is the speed of opening the site from the location where most of the users come from (well, or simply, to which region Google has pasted the site), especially in mobile search. However, this factor is not very significant in practice.
But users from sites that load for a few seconds often leave without waiting. At the same time, the percentage of failures is already a fairly tangible ranking factor.
So work on the loading-rendering speed of the site. If you can make it fast in the USA from a server in Russia, then it doesn't matter.
