Does not connect via RDP with error code 56. What could be the reason?
Unable to connect to a Windows 7 Professional computer using RDP. I get the error "Unable to connect to the remote computer". on the remote computer, remote access is allowed. The switch in the settings is on the option "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (more dangerous)". The firewall is disabled (with enabled and allowing all connections, the situation is similar). An event is generated in the log of the remote computer when trying to connect:
Source: TermDD
Event ID: 56
The terminal server security level detected an error in the protocol flow and disconnected this client. Client IP address:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.
The user profile is not roaming.
The network card driver is the latest (tried with an older version).
Tried changing the encryption type in advanced sharing settings for various network profiles.
Connecting with Server 2003 works, but not with Server 2008, Windows 7, etc.
A search on google for possible causes and solutions did not give any result.
I would appreciate any help in solving the problem.
